More about the provenance Abadeh | Iran
Abadeh is a West-Persian oasis city at the street between Isfahan and Shiraz. Abadeh rugs are of high quality and mainly knotted in three design types: Zel-i-Soltan (Bouquets), Keibathlou (Ghashgai type) or Moharamati (strip design). Abadehs are mostly woven with the Persian knot as opposed to the Turkish knot with which most Persian rugs are made.
